About This Role
- Lead and manage a team of Transaction Monitoring analysts, including coaching, performance review, and workload management.
- Oversee daily operations of transaction monitoring to ensure alerts are reviewed and actioned within SLAs; sign off on Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and escalations before submission.
- Drive quality assurance, process improvement initiatives, and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance team accuracy and throughput.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in AML transaction monitoring, financial crime operations, or related compliance within banking or financial services.
- Minimum 1-2 years in a supervisory/team lead or senior analyst role with people management responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring systems (e.g., NICE Actimize, Oracle Mantas, SAS) and practical experience preparing and submitting SARs/STRs per regulatory requirements.
- Work Experience Required: Explicitly stated (8+ years)
