About This Role
- Lead and deliver end-to-end life cycle assessment (LCA), product carbon footprint (PCF), and environmental product declaration (EPD) studies conforming to relevant ISO standards and product category rules.
- Build, adapt, and quality-check complex LCA models in SimaPro, including scenario analyses for circularity and low-carbon solutions.
- Manage data collection and quality assurance from clients and suppliers, support third-party verification, supervise junior staff, and contribute to project planning and client communication.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience in LCA, product sustainability, or sustainability consulting with at least 3 years hands-on LCA/PCF/EPD delivery.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Ecology, Sustainability, or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, ISO 14025, GHG Protocol Product Standard, and PCRs.
- Advanced hands-on experience with SimaPro LCA software and familiarity with background datasets such as ecoinvent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in applying sector-specific rulebooks (e.g., TfS PCF Guideline, PAS 2090) and handling data quality improvement with client and supplier teams.
- Capable of managing multiple workstreams independently while providing technical mentorship to junior colleagues.
- Has exposure to chemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or low-carbon technology sectors, with skills in scenario and uncertainty analysis for LCA.
