About This Role
- Manage embedded product development projects spanning from silicon bring-up to software delivery, coordinating hardware, firmware, and application teams.
- Implement and balance Agile methodologies for software features with Waterfall approaches aligned to hardware milestones and production deadlines.
- Oversee risk mitigation, resource allocation of specialized engineers, and facilitate cross-functional communication between silicon vendors and various engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 8+ years total experience in embedded systems including at least 8+ years in technical leadership or project management roles.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and debugging device drivers.
- Familiarity with engineering tools like Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines and preferred PM certifications such as PMP or Certified ScrumMaster.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex hardware-software co-design projects with dependencies on silicon prototypes or Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
- Skilled at integrating Agile and Waterfall project management approaches in embedded product development contexts.
- Strong cross-functional communicator able to bridge technical gaps between silicon suppliers and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
