About This Role
- Own all phases of firmware development for high-speed SERDES PHY including architecture, implementation, verification, testing, and customer deployment.
- Develop and debug firmware features related to adaptation, equalization, and control algorithms in system-level prototype control software.
- Collaborate with verification, validation, product engineering, and design teams to address firmware and hardware issues through debugging, fixes, and hot fixes in the field.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Understanding of wireline communication principles.
- Educational qualification: B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Work Experience Required: 2-4 years in relevant firmware or hardware development roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working independently and contributing to project leadership in firmware development for physical IP high-speed serial link protocols.
- Familiarity with mixed signal circuit design and digital signal processing techniques.
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally across verification, validation, system validation and product engineering teams to resolve IP issues.
