About This Role
- Evaluate and benchmark AI/ML models for efficient on-device execution on mobile hardware.
- Integrate and optimize AI models within Android applications and system services, focusing on inference latency, memory, and power usage.
- Develop hybrid local/cloud AI model routing strategies to balance on-device and cloud processing demands.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong experience in ML systems or inference engineering with deployment and optimization of models.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
- Knowledge of neural network inference, model quantization, and performance optimization techniques.
- Understanding of hardware constraints specific to mobile AI inference and benchmarking.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in mobile or edge AI deployment and optimization, particularly with on-device large language models (LLMs).
- Familiarity with AI acceleration frameworks such as Qualcomm QNN, MediaTek NeuroPilot, or ONNX Runtime variants.
- Capable of working closely with AI agent engineers to integrate models into runtime environments and optimize resource utilization.
