About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based applications and services with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services while optimizing database structures, queries, and data access layers.
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of professional PHP development experience.
- Strong expertise in Laravel or other modern PHP frameworks.
- Advanced experience with MySQL including query optimization, indexing, and schema design.
- Work Location: Hybrid position requiring at least two days a week onsite at an assigned TransUnion office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working with OOP, SOLID principles, MVC architecture, and software design patterns indicative of strong technical discipline.
- Capable of independent problem-solving and providing technical mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including Product Managers, Business Analysts, and QA Engineers in a structured product development environment.
