Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own the design, build, and operation of core SaaS platform infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, OpenStack environments, and cloud services on AWS and OCI.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terragrunt/Terraform, and build/maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain platform reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency; handle production troubleshooting, on-call duties, and mentor junior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 10 years hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering within cloud-native environments.
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes cluster administration, upgrades, networking, troubleshooting, and security best practices (RBAC, network policies, secrets management).
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Terragrunt) on AWS or OCI and scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Incident management experience including on-call rotations and root-cause analyses; solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, NAT).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in deploying and scaling SaaS platforms focusing on reliability and performance in high-growth, cloud-native settings.
- Hands-on engineer with ownership mindset capable of delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects with minimal supervision and contributing to architecture and DevOps roadmap.
- Familiarity with production observability tools, CI/CD best practices, and applying cloud security and compliance standards is advantageous but not mandatory.
