About This Role
- Oversee end-to-end US payroll processing ensuring accuracy, timeliness, regulatory compliance, and completion of all statutory filings.
- Manage and coach the payroll team while ensuring adherence to SOPs, standard work instructions, and daily bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external auditors; act as liaison between India SSC and Global finance teams to align payroll financial processes and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–10 years of end-to-end payroll experience including team leadership.
- Strong understanding of global payroll controls, compliance, and regional financial regulations relevant to US payroll.
- Experience working in shared services or multinational environments managing multi-entity and multi-currency payroll operations.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); Workday HCM and service request ticketing system experience is a plus but not mandatory.

- Experienced leader with proven success in managing payroll teams within shared service or multinational setups, especially handling US payroll.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage complex payroll cases including tax, retro, and expatriate payroll.
- Effective communicator skilled at stakeholder management, capable of liaising across global teams and with external auditors to ensure payroll and compliance integrity.
