About This Role
- Lead a team delivering assurance and compliance across SOX IT general controls, business process controls, and automated controls for Target's enterprise and India entities.
- Drive Internal Audit transformation by integrating data analytics, automation, GenAI, and agentic AI to enhance audit efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
- Provide forward-looking risk insights and communicate timely recommendations to strengthen governance, risk management, and business resilience.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in commerce, accountancy, management, or related field.
- 8+ years post-qualification experience in audit, risk, compliance, retail, data, technology, cyber, or related domains.
- Experience with SOX or India Finance Controls (IFC) and internal audit preferred; Big Four or retail industry experience is an advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications preferred (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, PMP, or data/AI/cyber risk credentials).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to lead risk-based assurance strategies and manage evolving risk priorities at a senior leadership level.
- Experienced in leveraging AI technologies (GenAI, agentic AI), data analytics, and automation for audit transformation.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, executive communication, and developing high-performing teams in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
