About This Role
- Lead and manage the Record to Report accounting function in Bangalore, overseeing a team of 5-6 accountants to ensure accurate books, disciplined month-end close, and supported balance sheet reconciliations.
- Own the financial close calendar, general ledger entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, lease accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and foreign currency accounting for multiple entities.
- Drive process improvements, standardize accounting operations, lead automation initiatives, support system implementations, and maintain operational controls and audit readiness.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA).
- 6-8 years relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 2 years experience leading accounting teams.
- Strong practical experience in general ledger accounting, multi-entity close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany, fixed assets, leases, and foreign currency accounting.
- Sound working knowledge of IFRS and experience working in an international business or shared services environment.
