About This Role
- Lead financial control and month-end close processes for multiple APAC markets and legal entities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage reconciliations, journal processing, intercompany accounting, balance sheet reviews, and maintain strong internal controls including audit support.
- Oversee and develop a small finance team, partner with shared service centres and vendors, and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 7 years experience in finance operations, financial controlling, shared services or service delivery.
- Practical experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, internal controls, audit support, and vendor/shared service management.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP and strong Excel skills; Good written and spoken English.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading finance service delivery within multinational or matrix organizations, ideally with professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Skilled in driving finance transformation, process automation (RPA), ERP implementations, and large-scale change initiatives.
- Capable of coaching and developing finance teams in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and practical problem-solving focus.
