About This Role
- Design and develop content such as dashboards, monitors, alerts, and searches for security detection and monitoring on the Sumo Logic platform.
- Develop and maintain scalable API integrations and next-gen observability solutions focused on AWS, Kubernetes, and GenAI.
- Manage the product development lifecycle including requirements, testing, documentation, and public release, and mentor team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 6-10 years of industry experience with a proven track record of leading complex technical projects and cross-team initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), automation frameworks, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Functions).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Node.js, Unix shell) and object-oriented languages (Java, Golang, Scala), plus experience with CI/CD tools and test automation frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in log management or observability platforms with exposure to threat detection and security monitoring.
- Familiarity with AI tools and techniques like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot and experience applying these to increase development productivity.
- Ability to lead product lifecycle management collaborating across product management, engineering and documentation teams in a SaaS/cloud-native environment.
