About This Role
- Design, build, and operate distributed platform services and APIs using Java and Python on Kubernetes or similar cloud-native infrastructure.
- Own reliability, scalability, and observability for services including SLOs, incident response, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, ML engineers) to support AI/GenAI platform capabilities and data workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience with distributed platforms.
- Proficiency in Java and Python is mandatory; experience with Spark and cloud-native engineering (CI/CD, Kubernetes) required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years in software engineering or related area.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in operational excellence practices including SLO/SLA ownership and incident management within large-scale distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex design problems into clear execution plans, especially in newly formed or 0-to-1 environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI/Agentic technologies integration, including GenAI, model APIs, vector search, and MLOps tooling.
