About This Role
- Own end-to-end offshore delivery including scoping, planning, execution, and quality for client engagements in financial data engineering and BI.
- Lead and manage a team of data engineers and BI developers across multiple projects ensuring alignment with finance and business requirements.
- Design and build financial data pipelines, warehouses, semantic BI models, and reports ensuring data validation and reconciliation with source systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years total experience combining finance/accounting (FP&A, financial reporting, controllership, or finance transformation) and data/BI roles.
- Degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or related field; professional qualifications like CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) are strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with at least two platforms among Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure data services.
- Strong Power BI skills (DAX, semantic modeling, performance tuning), advanced SQL and data modeling skills; working knowledge of Python or PySpark.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both finance accounting concepts (GL, P&L, budgeting, forecasting) and technical data engineering including pipeline and report development.
- Proven ability to lead or mentor small teams or act as technical lead on client projects with effective stakeholder communication.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid delivery model involving offshore teams and onshore business stakeholders.
