About This Role
- Lead design, development, and maintenance of Node.js applications, APIs, and microservices for the Expert Events platform.
- Provide technical leadership including solution architecture, code quality oversight, mentoring, and best practice enforcement.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software and support production issue resolution and platform modernization.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years with Node.js.
- Strong expertise in REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced Node.js developer comfortable leading architecture and mentoring teams in Agile environments.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern development tools and practices.
- Capable of translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
