About This Role
- Own end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of release activities ensuring reliable code deployments across development, lower, and production environments.
- Build, maintain, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines (primarily using GitLab and GitHub) to improve delivery speed and minimize errors.
- Serve as primary liaison for clients and internal teams, managing release communications, troubleshooting deployment issues, and enforcing SDLC and release governance processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines specifically using GitLab and GitHub.
- Proven ability to manage deployments involving Snowflake, Apache Airflow, and dbt.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and release management methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in coordinating complex, multi-release environments with cross-functional teams involving development, engineering, and product groups.
- Technically proficient in troubleshooting and resolving CI/CD pipeline and deployment failures under tight deadlines.
- Background in data engineering or cloud data warehouse release management preferred; certifications in GitLab, GitHub Actions, or cloud/DevOps technologies are a plus.
