About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure Java and PHP backend applications including RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases with schema design, indexing, query tuning, and write complex SQL queries for transactional and reporting use cases.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities, participate in architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers, and support CI/CD, automated testing, and system reliability efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA) and PHP (Laravel/Symfony or similar).
- Experience designing and building RESTful and SOAP web APIs; working knowledge of PostgreSQL with performance optimization.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and practical exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI integration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with microservices architecture, OOP design patterns, and containerization tools like Docker; Kubernetes is a plus.
- Comfortable with technical leadership roles including mentoring and driving best practices in Agile environments.
- Skilled in integrating AI/ML APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain) and embedding AI features into production applications.
