About This Role
- Design, develop, unit-test, deploy, maintain, and improve Java/J2EE backend solutions within Agile squads.
- Lead and enforce best practices in Java development, Continuous Integration, and DevOps across squad activities.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts and Scrum Masters to meet sprint objectives, ensure quality, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development with strong expertise in Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework.
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs), Messaging platforms (JMS, MQ), and relational databases like Oracle or MySQL.
- Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WildFly or equivalent, and exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Work Experience Required: 7 to 10 years in relevant backend Java development domain; Location: Pune, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior backend Java developer comfortable leading and enforcing engineering standards in Agile squads.
- Experienced in end-to-end project lifecycle: design, coding, code review, testing, production support, and troubleshooting complex enterprise applications.
- Familiar with BPM platforms like Camunda and has a proactive DevOps mindset with ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve workflow efficiency.
