About This Role
- Own daily P&L production, review, substantiation, and commentary for securitised product books (Mortgage-Backed Securities, Agency CMOs).
- Lead front-office P&L sign-off and oversee daily and month-end reconciliations across front office, risk, sub-ledger and general ledger systems, driving root cause resolution of recurring breaks.
- Manage month-end close activities, support new product onboarding, system migrations, control framework enhancements, and lead process improvement and automation initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in Product Control, Valuation Control, Middle Office, Risk, or Fixed Income Finance with exposure to securitised products.
- Qualified finance professional: CA, MBA in Finance or related discipline.
- Deep knowledge of Fixed Income and Securitised Products including Agency MBS, CMOs, ABS, structured credit and related derivatives.
- Experience with daily P&L ownership, P&L attribution, valuation control, reconciliations, month-end close, and familiarity with GAAP/IFRS fair-value accounting concepts.

- Experienced in independent P&L and valuation control with demonstrated ability to handle escalations and communicate complex valuation and P&L issues to senior stakeholders.
- Proficient in stakeholder management across Front Office, Risk, Operations, Technology and capable of leading junior team members.
- Committed to automation and AI governance, with ability to improve workflows using Python, SQL and AI tools while ensuring responsible and ethical use.
