About This Role
- Lead development and production deployment of scalable AI models and solutions focused on financial documents and markets using Gen AI and advanced NLP techniques.
- Establish and enforce coding and model evaluation standards to ensure production-grade, maintainable AI systems.
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to define requirements, evaluate third-party AI technologies, and execute AI-powered document intelligence projects.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in applied data science with a proven record of deploying production AI models and solutions.
- Proficient in Python (OOP) and popular ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn; experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
- Proven expertise building AI-driven document intelligence systems utilizing OCR, NLP, Generative AI, and related tools (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, vector databases).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior data scientist operator comfortable managing end-to-end AI model lifecycle from development to production in a financial data environment.
- Strong practical experience integrating multiple advanced AI technologies (Gen AI, OCR, semantic search) to solve complex, unstructured document problems.
- Experienced in defining code and model standards, collaborating cross-functionally, and steering project delivery in dynamic, innovation-driven teams.
