About This Role
- Develop synthetic workload queries and datasets to test DataPelago products reflecting real field environments.
- Create analysis and diagnostic tools for logs from DPA-S, Apache Spark, and deployment environments to identify and resolve performance and functional issues.
- Participate in product support rotation to address or escalate customer issues, conduct end-to-end product validation, and produce related documentation such as bug reports and configuration guides.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in development, validation, and support of enterprise data processing software products.
- 2+ years experience providing direct external customer support.
- 2+ years experience supporting Apache Spark pipelines, including job execution, resource provisioning, parameter tuning, and log analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience in testing data products and test automation; understanding of deployment and operations of data processing pipelines in cloud environments (GCP, AWS preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in complex data processing environments combining product validation and customer support to proactively prevent and resolve issues.
- Strong technical skills in Apache Spark and cloud deployment scenarios including SaaS, VM, container, and serverless architectures.
- Ability to translate product validation insights and customer feedback into automation solutions leveraging AI techniques.
