About This Role
- Lead moderately complex technical initiatives, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation within the software engineering domain.
- Resolve technical challenges, lead teams to meet client needs, and act as escalation point providing guidance to junior staff.
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies and oversee end-to-end lifecycle of product/application development involving complex business requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent through work, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience in full stack software engineering with Java services and cloud technologies like PCF/OpenShift (desired but important).
- Proficiency in UI and server technologies like Angular/React, JDBC, Spring Framework, JavaBeans; capable of developing RESTful web services and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps practices, including cloud solution delivery, and strong knowledge of Java object-oriented design and testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG, Selenium).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading moderately complex software projects with ability to guide junior engineers and act as an escalation point for technical issues.
- Strong end-to-end development skills across frontend and backend including UI frameworks and Java-based microservices with database integration (Oracle, MongoDB, SQL Server).
- Able to apply advanced object-oriented design, innovate technical solutions, and deliver software using Agile and DevOps methodologies in a cloud environment.
