About This Role
- Coordinate procurement activities for multiple projects by collecting, documenting, and tracking vendor quotations and submittals ensuring alignment with RFQ requirements.
- Maintain and update a cost data repository for vendor pricing to support current and future project budgeting and procurement decisions.
- Manage submittal documents using tools like Procore, facilitating reviews and coordination between US procurement, design, and project teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- More than 10 years of total professional experience; approximately 3 years must be in procurement-related roles.
- Experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) or manufacturing environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Location requirement: Based in Chennai office; flexibility to work US-overlap hours; no travel expected.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in organized procurement documentation and vendor cost data management within AEC or manufacturing projects.
- Comfortable coordinating cross-disciplinary teams and external US procurement colleagues.
- Proficient with procurement lifecycle processes and documentation management tools similar to Procore.
