About This Role
- Lead design, development, and technical direction of scalable, secure Java/Spring Boot microservices and middleware on Google Cloud Platform.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex services and integrations including design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Mentor engineers, conduct design/code reviews, drive technical discussions, and ensure architectural and engineering best practices across teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with substantial hands-on Java development.
- 4+ years experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Practical hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar public cloud platform.
- Prior experience as Technical Lead or Lead Engineer with responsibilities in design reviews, mentoring, and delivery ownership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong technical leadership with approximately 80% hands-on coding and 20% team mentoring and cross-team coordination.
- Deep expertise in enterprise middleware, integration patterns, and cloud-native microservices design on GCP.
- Experience managing complex, distributed, high-volume, highly available systems in an Agile/Scrum environment.
