About This Role
- Designs, develops, debugs, and delivers secure, stable, and scalable software solutions within an agile team for Commercial & Investment Bank Payments Technology.
- Owns architecture and design artifacts ensuring design constraints are met and maintains algorithms running synchronously with relevant systems.
- Analyzes and visualizes large data sets to identify hidden problems, improving code quality, system architecture, and application performance, utilizing enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools.
Minimum Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
- Proficient in Java fundamentals and frameworks (Spring Boot), multi-threading, OO programming, and messaging technologies (Kafka).
- Experience with Linux environment software maintenance and troubleshooting, containers, and cloud architectures.
- Work Experience Required: 3+ years applied software engineering experience.

- Experienced software engineer skilled in latency-sensitive, high-performance Java applications and event-driven architecture using Kafka.
- Demonstrates proficiency in enterprise AI-assisted software development tools with ability to critically evaluate outputs ensuring correctness, performance, and security.
- Capable of producing and owning complex system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in a distributed, agile environment with global teams.
