About This Role
- Lead and deliver lifecycle assessment (LCA), product carbon footprint (PCF), and environmental product declaration (EPD) studies adhering to relevant ISO standards and product category rules.
- Build, adapt, and quality-check SimaPro models including scenario and sensitivity analyses, and manage client and supplier data collection and validation.
- Guide junior colleagues in modelling and reporting, support project management tasks, and ensure timely, quality technical reporting and client communication.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience in LCA, product sustainability, or sustainability consulting with at least 3 years of hands-on LCA/PCF/EPD delivery.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Ecology, Sustainability, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in SimaPro modelling and working knowledge of ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, ISO 14025, GHG Protocol Product Standard, and product category rules including allocation and end-of-life approaches.
- Experience coordinating client and supplier data collection, validating data quality, and supporting third-party verification or critical review processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced LCA practitioner with strong technical expertise in SimaPro modelling and scenario analysis.
- Familiar with product sustainability frameworks and sector rulebooks such as TfS PCF Guideline, PACT, PAS 2090, and able to apply these across chemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and low-carbon solutions sectors.
- Capable of independently managing study workstreams, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to project profitability and proposal development.
