About This Role
- Lead architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale, multi-domain data platforms, pipelines, and products.
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into implementable data solutions with clear roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership across initiatives including mentoring, establishing engineering standards, and ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective data solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years professional experience in data engineering or related fields with leadership over complex, cross-team initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java with strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience designing and operating distributed data systems including batch and streaming pipelines on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 4+ years software engineering experience OR 6+ years software engineering experience OR Master's degree in CS with 2+ years software engineering experience; plus 3+ years in data engineering, database engineering, BI, or analytics.
