About This Role
- Design, prototype, and develop moderately complex software solutions and common modules for semiconductor equipment components and devices.
- Develop software documentation and test procedures to ensure quality and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderately difficult software problems, including bug fixes; liaise with internal and external customers for requirements and project schedules.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, software/system engineering, cybersecurity, mathematics or related field.
- 2–4 years of related software development experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++, .Net, C#, operating systems, networking principles, algorithms, and multi-threading.
- Work location: Chennai, India; Full-time role; No travel required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience developing software for semiconductor equipment or similar complex hardware systems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and large language models for C++ debugging, code generation, and performance benchmarking.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with ability to work on moderately complex projects autonomously.
