About This Role
- Own detailed requirements decomposition, system design, integration, and complex problem-solving across interdependent systems engineering activities.
- Manage system requirements flow-down, perform analyses and trade studies to align system architecture with operational concepts.
- Lead hardware/software integration, system-level verification testing, and produce/maintain systems engineering artifacts including RVTM, ICD, test plans, and technical documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with Master’s, or PhD without experience.
- Proficiency in Business Requirement Documents, High Level Design, system configuration, system specifications, test procedures, and experience performing UAT and Verification & Validation.
- Experience with DOORS requirements traceability tool, debugging tools (Grey logs, Splunk), basic SQL knowledge, model-based design (SysML/UML), JIRA, Agile environment experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex system design and integration with demonstrated ability in requirement flow-down and traceability management.
- Skilled at communicating with and influencing technical stakeholders both internal and external for resolving multi-disciplinary technical issues.
- Capable of mentoring junior engineers and contributing to proposal support through technical documentation and data provision.
