About This Role
- Develop, design, and maintain web applications using Java, React.js, and related technologies to deliver robust, high-availability solutions.
- Lead technical design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring security, quality (including TDD), and performance standards.
- Provide 3rd-line production support, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior developers, exercising autonomy and sound technical judgment.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-8 years of software development experience in web applications and backend systems.
- Strong skills in React.js, HTML5, JavaScript/ES6+, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (Oracle) with SQL.
- Experience in RESTful JSON API design, TDD methodologies, and source control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in delivering medium-to-large complex projects with proven ability to operate with minimal supervision while collaborating across teams.
- Strong background in both frontend (React.js, Redux) and backend (Java, Spring Boot) technologies with good architectural and design pattern knowledge.
- Capable of providing technical leadership, mentoring juniors, and acting as subject matter expert in application development and production support contexts.
