About This Role
- Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow SAM Pro application including workflows, business rules, scripts, reports, dashboards, user roles, and access.
- Manage and troubleshoot SAM Pro integrations, data feeds, scheduled jobs, data imports, API connectors, and production support issues, ensuring data quality and resolution of technical discrepancies.
- Lead SAM Pro upgrade planning, testing, deployment, and post-release defect resolution while coordinating change management and compliance controls.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12+ years of professional IT experience including hands-on ServiceNow SAM Pro administration and configuration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on experience administering and configuring ServiceNow SAM Pro with practical knowledge in software models, normalization, discovery, entitlements, reconciliation, integrations, and APIs.
- Fluency in English both verbal and written.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep technical expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro architecture, configuration, and administration with demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex SAM Pro and integration issues.
- Experience working with enterprise inventory tools such as SCCM, Intune, Tanium, and knowledge of software publishers like Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, VMware/Broadcom, Adobe.
- Strong understanding of SAM processes, CMDB, Discovery concepts, and ITIL principles aligned with production support, upgrades, and change management environments.
