About This Role
- Validate and integrate Cisco Enterprise networking solutions used by top-tier customers.
- Drive testing and development of controller-based networking equipment, developing tools and methodologies for optimization.
- Collaborate with a technical community to implement and support state-of-the-art networking technologies and cloud-based controller solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in networking, Ethernet Switching technology, and Automation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
- Strong foundation in Layer 2 switching and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, RIP, IS-IS, HSRP, VRRP).
- Strong automation skills using Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with multiple networking areas such as wireless fundamentals, encapsulation protocols (MPLS, GRE, VXLAN), and network security technologies (MACsec, IPSEC, ACLs).
- Knowledge of cloud-based controller and cloud technologies, and proficiency with Unix/Linux environments and virtualization.
- Familiarity with Cisco certifications like CCNA or CCNP is highly desirable and signals a strong domain expertise.
