About This Role
- Lead development and optimization of dataplane modules for SonicWall Next-Gen Firewall (NGFW) platforms.
- Design, implement, and enhance high-performance packet-processing paths using DPDK/ODP/OFP or similar frameworks with measurable impact on throughput and latency.
- Diagnose complex performance issues and influence architectural decisions and scalability strategies for dataplane components.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of C/C++ systems-level development experience in networking or embedded platforms.
- Strong hands-on expertise with DPDK, ODP, OFP, or similar high-performance packet-processing frameworks is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of L3/L4 protocols including IPv4/IPv6, routing, NAT, VPN/IPsec/SSL.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced at building multi-threaded, low-latency, high-throughput systems with deep OS internals knowledge.
- Capable of collaborating across platform, networking, security, and QA teams to drive technical direction.
- Strong systems debugging, performance tuning, and ability to contribute to next-generation firewall capabilities.
