About This Role
- Design, develop, and deliver innovative software solutions for data engineering in a cloud environment, focusing on secure and scalable technology products.
- Create and maintain high-quality production code, architecture, and design artifacts for complex data pipeline applications primarily on AWS and Databricks.
- Analyze large, diverse data sets to identify hidden issues and drive continuous improvements in software quality and system architecture.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- 12+ years of experience migrating and developing data solutions on AWS cloud, including AWS Services and Apache Airflow.
- 12+ years of experience building and implementing data pipelines using Databricks (Unity Catalog, Databricks workflow, Databricks Live Table).
- Experience designing and implementing data pipelines in a cloud environment (e.g., Apache Ni Fi, Informatica).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in data engineering within cloud environments, especially AWS and Databricks, supported by extensive hands-on experience.
- Proficient in object-oriented programming using Python (PySpark) for complex data queries and experienced with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
- Experienced in designing architectures aligned with agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security) and data profiling with advanced PL/SQL.
