About This Role
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP solutions including programs, enhancements, and OData services on SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems.
- Create and implement RAP business objects and CDS Views with proper annotations to support SAP APIs and Fiori/UI5 apps integration.
- Collaborate with functional and integration teams on SAP API strategies and support SAP BTP-based extension projects including side-by-side extensibility and Integration Suite.
Minimum Requirements
- 6–8 years of ABAP development experience including OOP ABAP, Enhancement Framework, BAdIs, and User Exits.
- Strong hands-on experience with OData services development and consuming/exposing SAP APIs using SEGW or RAP.
- Proficiency in CDS Views development with UI, analytics, and OData annotations.
- Working knowledge or exposure to SAP BTP components such as ABAP Environment (Steampunk), Integration Suite, or side-by-side extension concepts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in RAP programming model and SAP API design for SAP and non-SAP integrations, indicating a mid to senior developer level.
- Familiar with SAP S/4HANA architecture and clean core extensibility principles to align with best practices.
- Comfortable collaborating across functions and handling complex SAP BTP extension scenarios with agile delivery methodologies.
