About This Role
- Lead and manage the Software Engineering team in India within the NPD Engineering organization, including people and performance management.
- Develop and maintain software engineering capabilities for embedded control systems, simulation, functional safety, and autonomy development.
- Own and improve engineering processes and standards for software design, documentation, quality, cybersecurity, and ensure compliance and technical quality across Product Development.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years experience in embedded control system software or related software engineering roles, preferably in mobile machinery or heavy equipment domains.
- At least 3 years experience in line management or technical leadership within engineering organizations.
- Strong understanding of software engineering processes, quality practices, and functional safety in mobile machinery.
- Experience working in matrix organizations coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.

- Experienced leader who can manage and develop software engineering teams with a coaching and development focus.
- Practiced in collaborating cross-functionally with systems engineering, electric, hydraulic, and validation teams for integrated product development.
- Structured and pragmatic in engineering management with strong communication skills across disciplines and hierarchy.
