About This Role
- Monitor applications, infrastructure, cloud resources, and containerized services using observability and monitoring tools to maintain service availability and performance.
- Investigate alerts, perform troubleshooting using logs, metrics, dashboards, and standard procedures; handle incident response and escalate as needed.
- Create and update incident tickets with accurate technical details; maintain clear shift handovers; apply AI tools to improve monitoring and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Up to 2 years relevant experience in observability, application support, infrastructure operations, or related production-support role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (B.E/B.Tech) or equivalent; Masters preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Grafana, OpenSearch, and one or more APM tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, or Azure Application Insights).
- Willingness and availability to work 24×7 rotational shifts with monthly shift rotations including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience monitoring Kubernetes container platforms and basic knowledge of cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management and basic SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable applying AI and generative AI tools within approved company policies to improve investigation, documentation, and scripting tasks.
