About This Role
- Drive mission-critical software projects impacting Priceline's travel business evolution.
- Develop and maintain backend systems, REST APIs handling hundreds of millions of searches daily with a focus on low latency and high throughput transactional services.
- Lead, mentor, and influence engineering best practices within a cross-functional Agile team while working on cloud-based microservices architecture.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with exceptional Java coding skills.
- Strong SQL skills for real-time data querying and analysis.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Web Services, APIs, Cloud (preferably GCP), Microservices, Kubernetes (GKE), and Docker.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior engineer comfortable with designing and architecting complex, scalable, performance-driven applications.
- Proven leadership ability to mentor developers and influence technical standards and solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration within fast-paced, innovation-led technology teams.
