About This Role
- Design, build, operate, and improve an enterprise-scale Databricks-based data mesh platform focusing on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Enable data engineers, analytics, and data science teams to autonomously ingest, process, and share data securely using Databricks.
- Ensure platform security, quality, interoperability, and support domain autonomy with governance frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform engineering, or architecture.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or Scala for ETL/ELT development.
- B.Tech/M.Tech degree; Databricks Certified Professional certification required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Expert-level knowledge of Databricks ecosystem including Lakehouse, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
- Experience with AWS (preferred) or other major cloud platforms and related data services.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and data governance implementations.
