About This Role
- Own the design and execution of functional, integration, system, regression, and backend testing to ensure product quality.
- Manage the entire defect lifecycle including tracking, retesting, verification, and closure, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain Selenium automation scripts to improve test efficiency, coverage, and consistency, and perform SQL-based backend validation in Unix/Linux environments.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
- Experience in software testing covering functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries and database validation.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and defect lifecycle management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both manual and automated software testing with strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Familiar with Selenium automation, preferably with Python, and ISTQB testing principles.
- Able to work effectively in geographically distributed, cross-functional teams with good stakeholder management skills.
