About This Role
- Proactively identify and resolve database system availability, performance, and security issues.
- Create and maintain backup, restore, encryption, replication, and failover strategies across database environments.
- Participate in design, planning, and implementation of database architecture projects, translating business needs into database strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of direct experience as a Postgres Database Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Experience with Postgres databases, including performance tuning, security, clustering, encryption, replication, and failover mechanisms.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools.

- Skilled at influencing business stakeholders and driving execution of database initiatives linked to business requirements.
- Experienced in working collaboratively within a team and following/refining team processes.
- Has deep expertise in Postgres database administration with a focus on system performance and security.
