About This Role
- Own and resolve the most complex infrastructure and network issues across on-premises, AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments serving as the final escalation point before vendors.
- Lead the engineering and operational rollout of a multi-year cybersecurity uplift including Zscaler SASE (ZIA, ZPA) deployment, Always-On VPN retirement, and implementation of Zero Trust access controls.
- Manage critical incident response, mentor junior engineers, set technical standards, and oversee cloud and server infrastructure support including AWS, Azure, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in infrastructure, networking, or cloud roles in complex IT environments; at least 3 years at senior or Level 3 escalation level.
- Hands-on experience deploying/operating SASE platforms, preferably Zscaler ZIA and ZPA.
- Hands-on admin experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure, including cloud networking components (Transit Gateway, VNet peering).
- At least one cloud certification at associate level or higher (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate); strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, firewalls, and VPNs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader comfortable owning critical incidents and mentoring others in senior escalation roles within complex, hybrid cloud network environments.
- Deep domain expertise in SASE platforms (preferably Zscaler) combined with hands-on cloud administration and network security integration with identity platforms like Microsoft Entra ID.
- Proven track record managing infrastructure migration projects, with strong operational discipline including automation, root cause analysis, and collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.
