About This Role
- Lead design and architecture of scalable, resilient, high-performance data platforms primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Drive end-to-end development and optimization of batch and real-time data pipelines using Scala, Spark, ETL/ELT frameworks, and GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub).
- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers while collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align data engineering roadmaps with business priorities.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or related domains.
- Strong expertise in Scala, Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer (Airflow).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) with at least 4 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience/education as per position minimum qualifications.
