About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain Playwright-based test automation suites across UI, API, and integration layers with ownership of functional quality for assigned applications supporting ICE financial markets infrastructure.
- Apply AI tools across the quality lifecycle—requirements analysis, test authoring, coverage review, debugging, and reporting—to accelerate and enhance automation and testing processes.
- Own risk-based test strategy including manual/exploratory testing where needed, triage defects, provide release readiness evidence, and influence automation quality through code reviews and collaboration without people management responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years in software quality engineering or SDET roles, including 5+ years hands-on test automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or comparable modern E2E test frameworks (e.g. Cypress, WebdriverIO), including suite structure and CI integration.
- Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript and software engineering practices including modular design and code reviews.
- Ability to work on-site in Atlanta five days per week.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced individual contributor with deep expertise in Playwright automation framework architecture and flakiness mitigation at scale in CI/CD.
- Practically skilled in using AI-assisted engineering tools as a routine part of test automation and quality processes.
- Familiar with quality assurance in regulated or high-reliability financial market domains and collaborative workflows involving product, development, and DevOps teams.
