About This Role
- Own a security-related feature/component end-to-end from design through delivery with accountability for quality and automated testing.
- Make component-level design decisions considering security, scalability, compatibility, and failure scenarios, and identify security risks early.
- Provide technical leadership by leading code/design reviews and mentoring junior engineers (IC2 level).
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 8 years experience with Java or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with JavaScript and modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
- Experience in leveraging or integrating AI into workflows or decision-making processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable making independent design decisions in security-focused software components with an eye on architecture and risk management.
- Experienced in mentoring and reviewing code at a senior level and raising engineering quality standards.
- Has practical knowledge of combining Java backend skills with modern frontend frameworks to deliver secure, scalable applications.
