About This Role
- Provide advanced HP-UX Tier 3 system administration including installation, patching, performance tuning, and high availability management.
- Manage critical incident resolution and root cause analysis to sustain enterprise-grade HP-UX platform availability.
- Implement infrastructure changes, automate operational tasks, and ensure compliance with ITIL change management processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years in System Administration with expertise in HP-UX 11i and UNIX administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field required.
- Must have experience with HP Serviceguard clustering, LVM/VxVM, SAN storage administration, and shell scripting (Korn/Bash).
- Experience in enterprise data center environments supporting mission-critical applications; ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced HP-UX infrastructure engineer comfortable leading technical troubleshooting and handling Sev1/2 production incidents.
- Proficient in managing complex UNIX environments involving high availability clusters and disaster recovery.
- Strong in automation scripting and coordinating cross-functional teams for infrastructure changes and incident resolution.
