About This Role
- Own development and maintenance of a C++17 endpoint sensor across Windows, Linux, and macOS focusing on host and network telemetry collection with minimal system footprint.
- Lead end-to-end engineering projects including building a virtualized testing environment for multi-OS attack scenarios, prioritizing high-impact work and ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
- Engage directly with customers to understand challenges and deliver solutions, while independently managing multiple projects and leveraging AI tools for development acceleration.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years professional software engineering experience including systems or low-level programming.
- At least 4 years hands-on experience with modern C++ (C++17).
- Minimum 3 years experience in systems programming covering OS internals, kernel responsibilities, memory management, multithreading, concurrency, performance optimization, and software testing for reliability.
- Must be willing to work remotely aligned with UK working hours; strong Windows systems experience encouraged; prior Linux and macOS experience optional.
