About This Role
- Lead design, engineering, and ongoing stability of global trader voice platforms including IPC Unigy, Cloud9, and Speakerbus.
- Own platform lifecycle management including capacity planning, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning of legacy systems to ensure 24x7 availability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive platform modernization initiatives, automation for operational efficiency, and manage strategic vendor partnerships and escalations.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience or equivalent through work, training, military, or education.
- Strong hands-on experience with IPC Unigy, Cloud9 Voice, and/or Speakerbus platforms.
- Extensive experience designing and supporting Trader Voice solutions, including ring-down circuits (ARD, MRD, Hoot) and SIP-based voice services.
- Solid understanding of VoIP, SIP, multicast, low-latency networking, and voice recording systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in supporting mission-critical, front-office trading voice infrastructures in highly regulated financial services environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex incident responses, infrastructure modernization programs, and vendor relationship management.
- Skilled in automation (PowerShell scripting), ITIL-aligned change management, and working cross-functionally with trading, compliance, and security teams.
