About This Role
- Own installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex, multi-vendor computer networks for optimal performance.
- Plan and execute routine network changes, resolve network outages, and apply emergency corrective actions including configuration and security policy implementations.
- Maintain network components, monitor performance, ensure network security, and provide high-level user support and communication with customers and project teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Networking.
- Mandatory skills: troubleshooting, switching, routing, F5 Load Balancer, Network security, WAN Network Architecture, Switches, Virtual Networking.
- Required certifications: Minimum CCNP or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewall and Palo Alto Networks NGFW; working knowledge of ITIL.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working in complex, multi-vendor network environments with strong operational ownership of network performance and security.
- Demonstrates ability to respond to emergency network issues with quick testing and corrective actions, including change reviews.
- Skills including BGP, Cisco ACI SDN, Checkpoint/Cisco Firepower, NSX, and Ansible automation are differentiators indicating advanced network infrastructure expertise.
