About This Role
- Design, develop, and support full stack software platforms for Prudential, covering backend and frontend technologies.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions, ensuring adherence to software development lifecycle and IT policies.
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams, contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years of full stack development experience, including backend Java/Spring Boot and frontend React or Flutter.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong experience with Java 11+, RESTful APIs, microservices, TDD/BDD, RDBMS & NoSQL, code version control (GIT/Bitbucket), and basics of DevOps (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and complexity estimation (planning poker).
- Capable of independently delivering high-quality full stack applications with strong focus on test-driven development and platform standards.
- Familiar with cloud platforms, event bus technologies (Confluent Kafka), and able to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders including 3rd party vendors.
